Terms of Use
The short version: every app here is free, unofficial, and provided as-is with no warranty. Nothing they produce is professional, medical or legal advice, and what you do with the output is your own decision and your own risk.
These are the rules of use. What happens to your data is a separate document — see the Privacy Policy.
1. Who you are dealing with
Ascent, Bike Fit Analyzer and Aksara Bali (each an “App”) are personal projects built and operated by one individual, Doni Wirawan (“I”, “me”, the “Operator”). They are not companies, not commercial products, and not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by any organisation whose data or platform they interoperate with. By using an App you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Free, as-is, no warranty
Each App is offered free of charge and “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Features are experimental and may change, break or disappear without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator accepts no liability for any injury, damage, loss or cost arising out of your use of an App.
3. Not professional advice
Nothing produced by these Apps is professional advice. In particular, Bike Fit Analyzer is not a professional bike fit and not medical advice: a 2D side-on video cannot see depth and cannot see you, and a qualified fitter can. If you have pain, numbness or an injury, see a doctor or physiotherapist. Any change you make to your bike, your training, or your riding position is your own decision and your own risk — change one thing at a time, and stop if something hurts.
4. Ascent (Strava dashboard)
Ascent is an independent, unofficial, free analytics tool for viewing your own Strava data. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, certified or approved by Strava, Inc. “Strava” and its logos are trademarks of Strava, Inc., used only to describe interoperability. Your use of Strava data through Ascent remains subject to Strava's own Terms of Service, API Agreement, Brand Guidelines and Privacy Policy.

5. Bike Fit Analyzer
Bike Fit Analyzer measures joint angles from a video of you pedalling and grades them against ranges taken from bike-fitting research. It is a proof of concept, and there is no guarantee the numbers are right for your body. Camera angle, clothing, lighting and the pose model all introduce error, and the front/rear readings are explicitly experimental. See section 3 above — this is not a bike fit and not medical advice.
Source licence
The source is published so anyone can audit the privacy claims. It is source-available, not open source: it is licensed under the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0, which permits essentially any use except building a competing product. The LICENSE file governs, not this summary. Pose detection uses Google's MediaPipe under its own Apache 2.0 licence.

6. Aksara Bali
Aksara Bali converts Latin text into Balinese script in your browser. It is an educational tool offered free of charge to help people read, write and preserve Aksara Bali. Transliteration is imperfect: it may not match every scholarly or regional convention, and you should not rely on it for ceremonial, legal or published text without review by someone who knows the script.
7. Acceptable use
Use the Apps for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not use them to access data that is not yours, do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent them or the third-party APIs they rely on, and do not use them to build a competing product where the licence forbids it. Access may be withdrawn at any time.
8. The blog and the contact form
Writing on this site is mine. Do not republish it wholesale; quote it and link back instead. The contact form is for contacting me — do not use it to send spam, abuse, or anything unlawful.
9. Third parties
The Apps depend on third-party services — Strava's API, Google's MediaPipe, jsDelivr, Vercel hosting, and Supabase. Those services have their own terms, which govern their own conduct. I am not responsible for how third parties operate their services.
10. Changes
These are active projects, so these terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did. Where an individual App publishes its own, more detailed terms, that document is the authoritative one for that App and prevails over this summary in the event of a conflict.
